My Daily Products

My Daily Products

As a person with sensitive skin I have to use products that don’t irritate, so these are a list of products that I use daily for different things.

When it comes to beauty products I have to be careful due to having sensitive skin, the product I use is BareMinerals Powder, it is a light product and not heavy where you can feel it sitting on the skin. I use MAC powder, blusher and mascara, which are nice simple products to use.

So my number one main product is E45 cream, there are a variety of different products from their range for all skin types. I personally use the normal lotion, the shower cream and the nourish & restore body lotion, because it feels velvety on the skin. For the days that I need a little more, I use their original lotion that helps restore my natural skin balance.

I love body sprays and perfumes but I will always use and buy Hollister Solana Beach spray, Victoria Secret Champagne and Strawberry.

My favourite perfumes are the Moschino perfume Fresh Couture, Gucci Gulity range and the new one I want is the Juniper Sling by Penhaligon’s, because it smells of Gin ‘n’ Tonic !

Factual Fashion !

Factual Fashion !

One of the best fashion books I have come across is called Fashion Portfolio By Anna Kiper, it is a very visual book filled with different ideas on design and layout.

IMG_9323

This helped me through all sorts of different projects, and for when I was creating my portfolio for university.

This book is beautifully laid out with tips and techniques especially if you’re doing fashion design !

It contains fashion drawing, media, lots of illustrations and different techniques in how to present. There’s information about portfolio covers, look books, menswear and many more.

Hope this post is helpful ! 🙂

There is also another book Anna Kiper has done purely about illustrations.

The Wonders In My Bag !

The Wonders In My Bag !

Hidden within the mysterious designer forest is a Mulberry Bag filled with wonders, which is a nice way to say filled with a lot of junk ! But then again one person’s junk is another gal’s treasure !

Personally, I am a person who dislikes carrying around too much stuff, so within my bag all you will find is the bare esstainals !

Mulberry is one of my favourite designer brands, so this bag is one of my must haves because it’s just so beautiful !

The need for a larger purse, because it holds all those point cards ! Because lets be honest they take up most of the space…

My most important item is my phone !

It holds everything from social media, music, books and tube map ! Oh, and to contact people …

As a naturally clumsy person I drop things, even though I don’t intend to it just jumps out of my hands !

So this time, for my phone I brought the survivour core case, and it has saved its life multiple times !!

The luck doesn’t stop there !

I also need reading glasses, but I can pull off the look with these Karl Lagerfeld frames, because let’s face it they are pretty cool !

You will always find me with a pair of  headphones in my bag, because you never know when you’ll need them ! Could be traveling, getting to work or just because you love music.

Beats are my go to set, they are noise cancelling and a pair of headphones that are actually comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I have tried wireless headphones before but I always forget to charge them up and end up still using the cable, so that’s why I’ve got the Beats Solo.

I never leave without a pair of Sunglasses, because you never know when you need to shade the haters !

Or to hide a bad make-up day, I sometimes use them just to hold my hair back from my face, don’t judge I have really long hair.

My favourite fragrance is the MOSCHINO Fresh Couture, because it’s the coolest thing ever.

With me, I always have a small fragrance rolling around my bag ! Because you always need to smell fabulous !

I always need a pen & paper no matter where, because I am fed up with losing paper and stuff floating around my bag !

So having a nice set keeps me from losing it.

Moisturising cream & Vaseline

I suffer from sensitive skin so I always in need of hand cream. So I usually carry around E45 cream because it’s the only one that doesn’t irritate. Vaseline you always need that !

Hairbands, Hair Slides & Hair comb

As a person with extremely thick and long hair, I always need these items to sort out the mess of my hair !

The cute Spiral Hair Toggle are from Sweaty Betty and come in a pack of 5, the other 3 are summer bright colours !

Last but not least the iPhone charger !

4 Things

4 Things

Sorry I haven’t been posting much Uni has been very busy lately, so this post is about fun randomness that keeps me going.

Personally, I have an endless list of items around my room but each one has a purpose. For example, I am a type of person to lose anything, and keys are my worst nightmare especially in the morning.

So to deal with my missing keys arrangement, I have got an amazing cup that will always keep my keys safe, and it’s not like I can miss them in that.

Around my room, I have a lot of random lights, from tiki bar signs, flamingos and to the current new light that has arrived on the market called the cinematic light box. This light is an amazing way to have fun and literally lighten up your room.

As a person who loves to draw, I have a large amount of pens for different things. So like my keys I have a habit of misplacing these pens. So I have used this adorable miniature bag from Selfridge’s cause I like to give my pens the lifestyle they deserve.

I have lived in London for nearly a year now, and I have been to so many exciting events. As a memory of all the amazing things, I have experienced this year I have created a scrapbook wall that holds all of my adventures.
