I know I haven’t been updating my blog much this past year and can only apologise. This year has been completely crazy as I have been completing my degree in fashion promotion.
Throughout this year I have been working on a project called Acute. Acute is a bespoke, knowledgeable, trusted, skincare brand that specialises in providing product choice for individuals, who feel they’re not represented in the skincare market. Acute is a company that would categorizes products by skin types such as sensitive, oily, dry, eczema, combination and many other different skin types. It seeks to find products that work and provide more natural organic products to their consumers. One of my aims was to create this company to be as sustainable as it can be. I have presented my idea and designs at Transitions 2.0, Graduate Fashion Week and the Ravensbourne Degree Show. I also had the AMAZING Opportunity to meet CLARE WAIGHT KELLER who is THE Artistic Director Of GIVENCHY !
Heres a little look at the what I’ve been up too.
Stripes are in this summer and with a range of designers and high street styles, there is more than a range to choose from to make you feel on point.
The featured image only show a few of the different types of styles but there is a raising amount, with of the shoulder shirts, and ruffles making a comeback and pinstripes heading out of the wardrobes. Take into consideration that this is a timeless trend and stripes look good at any moment. With the hot weather and it being the holiday season, it’s a great time to indulge or dig out your striped gems. You can either introduce this trend subtly, go crazy with strips or do both!
Items can be stylish jumpsuits, shorts, tops, swimwear, shoes, beachwear, and accessories. Here are a few of my favorites pieces.
For the go crazy stripes:
Playful Striped Jumpsuit By NewLook
Classic Comme Des Garcons Top
Stripe Stripe Shorts H&M
Subtle but introduced stripes:
Large Tasteful Scarf H&M
Elegant Parallel Lines Dress Pinstripe
Holiday Wear TKMaxx
JuiceBox Girls Summer Issue.
I acted as editor of JuiceBox magazine and contributed to this issues by writing, researching and contacting female authors, editing articles and features. Acting as creative direction on editorial shoots, helped plan and design the magazine along with producing and influencing the graphics. I created promotional material for JuiceBox by creating launch party posters, postcards and a mock-up of a website.
Press Society was a self-made magazine that featured elements such photography, graphics, and fashion design. It was a magazine created to showcase a variety of skills and present different promotional techniques for a brand that included editorial, adverts and front covers.

My Day Entails……
Being in love with the new adaptation of Beauty & The Beast.
It feels in forever since the last time I watched the old version, but it wasn’t long until I found myself internally singing along to the new one.
It truly was a spectacular film filled with amazing performances throughout, especially by Emma Watson. Who plays Belle’s role, exactly how you would imagine a Disney princess.
Towards the end of the film, I found myself nearly about to stand and give applause, then remembered where I was. (Cough Cough…. Seriously I nearly just did that)
But for a Disney fan, the film is definitely not a disappointment especially if Beauty & The Beast is one of your favourites like it is mine.

MOSCHINO Fall 2017
The collection to me seemed as if they were protectors of the galaxy, and I loved some of the outfits that made its way down the catwalk especially the bags and dresses.
But it seemed a different vibe that was portrayed in this year’s fashion show, that it wasn’t the usual upbeat style for MOSCHINO. It was said that the collection responded to issues that were changing the world.
Check out the whole collection: And see what you think ?
The video belongs to the official MOSCHINO Youtube channel and the pictures to Pinterest.
#WhatisRAW UK Tour
G-Star held an event at the flagship store on Oxford street, London, which consisted of live performances and a range of DJ sets from She Devil and Siobhan Bell.
The event consisted of seeing the FW16 collection, and with any purchase, you were given a G-Star tote bag. You could also customise your own denim brought on the night. Also ….
See live performers such as Etta Bond, Jay IDK, Lola Coca, Nova Twins and The Cortes, which were absolutely amazing !! 🙂
(This short video just shows some of the performers sets at the event.)
There were live pieces of art that were being created throughout the night by artists that truly inspired and captured the event of #WhatisRAW ?
Hope you enjoyed the post 🙂
